I just placed my order, when will it arrive?
We ship fish out Monday – Thursday and your fish will be shipped out ASAP (weather permitting) unless you request a specific day for your fish to arrive. You will receive an email with your Tracking # and the day your fish will be arriving as soon as the order has been picked. Most orders received before 9am EST are shipped out the same business day. Orders received after 9am EST are generally shipped out the next business day (weather permitting).
Who do you use to ship your fish?
We ONLY use FedEx when it comes to shipping live animals. There are ZERO shortcuts when it comes to shipping your new fish to arrive happy and healthy, and we take this process very seriously. We have up to the minute reports on weather conditions at the two FedEx hubs where your fish will travel through which is extremely important for us when it comes to packaging your fish to ensure it will arrive happy and healthy.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping for all fish and invertebrates is a flat rate of only $39.99. You may order as many different fish/invertebrtes at any quantity you'd like and they will all ship for one flat rate.
My fish arrived dead, what should I do?
All fish are 100% guaranteed to arrive alive. We take all steps possible to ensure your new pet arrives happy and healthy. In the rare event that a fish/invertebrate does arrive dead, please email us a clear photo of the dead fish/invertebrate still in the shipping bag. You must contact us within 1 hour of the package being delivered by FedEx for us to issue a full refund for the DOA fish. Please arrange for someone to be home on the day of delivery. We include details instructions in every box to reference as well should this happen.
